Fashion trends incorporate many fads that caught on only because many people wore the same thing, or dress the same way. One of the biggest trends of 2018-2019 is fishnet stockings/tights (see fishing does have a place in fashion). Now many people hear the words fishnets and thing fishing trip or the Caberet. But the trend of these tights have a lot more inspiration behind them then just musical numbers and lakey water.
From the club seen to high school hallways to Fashion Show Runways, fishnet stockings are dominating the fashion industry. Now don’t get me wrong, there is a right time and a wrong time to wear fishnets, and a certain type at that. So what are the most trendy way to wear this trend? And what are fishnets?
Fisnets are tights that have open, diamond knit, shaped holes which allow the allusion to longer legs that what you might already have or not. The holes can be close together or far apart, therefor allowing for many styles and options when choosing a pair to wear. You can wear these with short mini skirts to high fashion floral dresses to create a look of sophistication. The opportunities are endless!
So what can you wear these stylish yet elegant tights with? Literally anything. From denim to fur, from skirts to jeans, to even coats and dresses. You can find all sorts of outfits paired with these tights. Fishnets are not only stockings but socks and sleeves as well as well. Goes to show how transcending this fashion trends really is.

A new week means a new project for Bellah! That’s right, we’ve just finished kicking off our fashion season with Bellah’s Fashion 4 Life fashion show this past Saturday. It was a major event and was highly successful! But now it is time for Bellah to turn their focus to something else.
So what is the new project at Bellah? Well that is the second issue of Bellah A’ffaire Magazine! Last time we focused on the top 10 influential women, this time it’s the top 10 Designers! Along with these designers, businesses, models, and other adds will be placed into the magazine to promote said businesses and people! Hey Bellah World Readers! Guess what week it is? That’s right, FASHION SHOW WEEK! Now most people don’t realize how much work goes into a Fashion Show, especially a Bellah Show. Now I know y’all know that our models have been going to casting calls and attending classes and privates in order to be model ready for our show on Saturday, February 23rd. But that is just prep work, the real work begins now. Our models will be going to fittings, classes, privates, mandatory rehearsals, and anything else that they have to in order to be ready for Saturday.
Fashion show is probably the most hectic week for models, agents, and all other staff involved. We are literally running around so that the event goes smoothly, which takes a lot more effort than one thinks. The day of the show itself will be an early one for our models. Due to having many models who are in the show, hair and makeup has to begin early so that everyone can be done on time. This means that models will have to be at the venue for long periods of time, and it can be fun if you know how to make it so!
All of us at Bellah are supper excited for the show and couldn’t be more ready for Saturday to hurry up and arrive. There is a famous quote that floats around the entertainment world, “No Pain, No Gain”. This is true when it comes to the lives of Models, and the Bellah Models are definitely feeling the truth of this now. Why? Well because they are getting ready for their first Bellah show of the season.
After the Agency Casting call that was held in January, new talent just keep on floating through the agency’s doors. This is great, but it also means that our new models (and our old) have to put in major work in order to be ready for the show on February 23rd.
This Saturday our models were put to the test! Not only did they have a 2 hour walking class, but a 2 hour casting call for the show right after. Let me do the math for you, that is four hours in heels, non-stop walking. Now I do not know about the other models, but my feet are covered in blisters and I am a returning model. Just goes to show that even us seasoned models slack off and have to work to get back to perfection.
The casting call and class both went smoothly, and everyone had a great time. There was many new Bellah faces at both, and they really took advantage of their time and listened to their walking coach. Can’t wait to see what else these new and old models have in store for us this year!

It’s the year 2019 and Bellah Modeling Agency is already starting it’s new year on a high note! Tonight is Bellah’s first Magazine launch event! If you would like to attend then be at the agency at 6pm for a night of fun and celebration! This magazine is a must have, and who doesn’t like a little party?
Not only will the amazingly talented Donna Anderson (agency and magazine owner) be there, but many of the agency models will be making an appearance. Please come out and join us in launching are new magazine and pick up a copy or two (maybe more?) for yourself and friends/family!
Hey Bellah Bloggers! Its Downtime for the Bellah models but that doesn’t mean that they are not hard at work. Last weekend our beautiful owner Donnah went to a power shoot, and then went to a Fashion show that was mainly all bellah models! But what have the bellahs been up too since fashion show season for 2018 is over?
Well they’ve been acting of course! That’s right, our bellah models not only walk the runway but they also take classes for acting. All of our bellah models are busy memorizing scripts and drama techniques that will allow them to book acting jobs. That’s a well rounded bellah!
